It seems Apple feels the need to release an app on almost a daily basis as it seems that does one thing and one thing only…
…calculates the tip for a meal…
I guess I have two gripes with this. The first is I can’t believe Apple would pay a developer to create such an app only to have Apple charge someone for the software. The second is I am shocked that we as a culture, have become so dependant in technology, that we are losing the ability to think.
You don’t need an iPhone to see this. Pay attention to the next
time you go to a grocery store and the clerk has trouble making change.
Is it so diificult to double or triple the tax? Or figure out 10% of the total and double that?
There are a slew of useless apps in the app store. If people want to pay for them, that is fine. But think before you pay $2 for something you should gave learned in 4th grade.
Stepping off my soapbox now…

I was previously using SportsTap to keep track of updated sports scores. However I found this app to be slow at times and the interface was not the most intuitive. Yesterday, apple released Sportacular put out by streamingscores.com. This app is a much better interface and is a must faster application than SportsTap. What I love about this app…
- Get scores for the sports which matter most to me
- Create groups of your fantasy players and view all their stats on one screen
- News available from ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sports, and Yahoo Sports
- Navigation is intuitive

I was never a big fan of Sodoku and frankly, I never quite understood it. That was until I downloaded a free Sodoky app from iTunes. Now I know what all the craze is about. It is quite addicting.
The app gas a great interface. I say this because I have never played Sodoku and without any instructions, was able to pick it up in a couple of minutes. Not much else to say, but I know why people can get addicted
